Mandar began his career in Hong Kong with the Entertainment Company, Media Bank Group working for their Asian concert promotion business in the early 90’s, post which he helped set up the 24-hour music television station Channel [V]. Over the last decade, he has pioneered India’s digital music landscape as part of the founding team at Sound buzz, then Asia/India’s largest online and mobile music distribution company, that got acquired by Motorola. Before moving to Times Music, Mandar ran his own Digital Music and Media Consultancy with clients in the mobile, telecom, music and internet businesses.
