IMI stated in its representations that the term ‘audio-visual’ in the phrase ‘… uses any audio-visual recording device….’ be deleted in the proposed Section 7(4) of the Cinematograph Act, 1952. IMI recommended this deletion as it would broaden the scope of the recording devices which abet film piracy.
